L lead us on a tour through Montreal today. In the morning, we stopped at the art gallery and I took this photo of apartment buildings beside a row of trees (and roads) down Place Ontario from Avenue du Musée. We then climbed the stairs (which are currently closed) to the Mont Royal Pavillion and then headed to the old port. We walked back and forth after visiting a lovely garden. Then we took the metro to Parc Jean Drapeau to see the Biosphère and go for a long walk to see Habitat 67. I’d recommend cycling instead of walking as the apartments are out of the way, but we were rewarded by a small tour from one of the residents. Then we went back north to St. Denis where L had her first poutine. Another trip on the metro brought us back to Namur station where we headed back to the hotel.
