On a quick respite from a course indoors, I went outside to enjoy more of the old buildings at Queen’s.

There is a mini exhibit at the Brighton Public Library of hooked rugs. This isn’t the loveliest photo however I wanted to share it as the rugs were really interesting. There is a larger exhibit at the Art Gallery of Northumberland on until April 30 called Then and Now, Rug Hooking in Canada.

My camera’s on the fritz so thankfully my backup camera is charged up. This fun sculpture is located just outside the Tea Room at the entrance to Beamish-Munro Hall (and across from Nicol Hall).
