1/60s, f7.1, 400ISO, autoWB, 28mm.

This photo doesn’t have much photographic merit as I only wanted to capture the changing colour of the maple leaves.

I got wet feet but I still enjoyed my pilgrimage around the ridge loop this evening (and the company; thanks for joining me J!).

With so many plants in this boggy lake (Lake 661), the water becomes darkly coloured before it flows out.

1/30s, f9, 400ISO, autoWB, 18mm.

We attended a fibre festival at Piper Creek in Castleton this afternoon. Yesterday’s wind had brought cool temperatures and I’m going to have to start wearing sweaters and jackets.
Piper Creek is a hidden gem in Castleton and the owners of the property kindly shared their bounty with visitors today at an event called “Yarns at Piper Creek Mill”.

On my way to a meeting this evening, I noticed that the leaves are starting to change (along Dixon Dr.).
