I stopped a few times along my bike ride to my friends’ today, this time outside the sculpture Sakarrah (by Victor Tolgesy) at Queen’s. Before supper I played with the toddler.

This side of the Douglas Library is covered in vines, like many buildings at Queen’s.

On my trip to Buffalo last week, I noticed an interesting building from the train that I wanted to visit so this time we stopped, despite the rain. The Central Terminal had fourteen platforms and there are now weeds and trees growing between them. The concourse is an interesting building and the office tower is striking, being the only highrise tower in the area.

We visited Frank Lloyd Wright’s home and studio as well as the exterior of several other houses in the area. Above is the Nathan G. Moore residence seen on the walking audio tour.
