This sewing project, using stiff nitex mesh, was challenging in this location; the mesh kept pressing up against my thread racks and knocking things off and there wasn’t enough room on the table. But it I got it done…

This the ugly corner of my sewing room: I try to hide my fabric scraps in these plastic shopping bags stacked on one another but not so much that it doesn’t shame me into using them (by keeping them obvious and close at hand). (My paper patterns are kept in the portfolio behind the bags.)
